MIC Pitch Camp 2.0 was an Intra MIST Presentation competition which was held from 2 to 30 December, 2021. Being an engineer most of the students face problem in MIST regarding presentation and attending in business competition or idea competition. Pitch Camp is a similar competition for students studying in MIST which gives them the ability to present their idea to the outside world and also develop his/her presentation skills.
The event started with two days bootcamp took place prior to the competition to provide students, the basics of Presentation and Pitching Hacks and solving a Case.
The first boot-camp session of ๐๐๐ ๐๐ข๐ญ๐๐ก ๐๐๐ฆ๐ฉ ๐.๐ on “๐๐ซ๐๐ฌ๐๐ง๐ญ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐๐ค๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฌ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ข๐ญ๐๐ก๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐๐๐ค๐ฌ” was conducted by ๐บ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ช๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ who is currently working as ๐๐๐ง๐๐ ๐๐ซ ๐ข๐ง ๐๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ข๐ง๐๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐๐๐ฏ๐๐ฅ๐จ๐ฉ๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ ๐๐ญ ๐๐ซ๐ข๐ฆ๐๐๐จ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐๐ซ. The session took place on ๐๐ญ๐ก ๐๐๐๐๐ฆ๐๐๐ซ.
On 10th December, the second boot-camp session of ๐๐๐ ๐๐ข๐ญ๐๐ก ๐๐๐ฆ๐ฉ ๐.๐ on “๐๐ซ๐๐๐ค๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐๐ฌ๐” took place. This session was conducted by ๐ป๐๐๐๐๐ ๐จ๐๐๐๐
๐ป๐๐๐๐๐๐ who is currently working as ๐๐๐ญ๐ ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐ฎ๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ณ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐๐ง๐๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐๐ญ ๐๐๐ง๐๐ช๐ฎ๐ข๐ซ๐.
The competition took place in 2 rounds. Round 1 was taken online and Round 2 took place physically with the top 8 teams selected from Round 1. The top 8 teams solved a real life problem existing in MIST and presented in Multipurpose Hall.
The Champion team is Team Dream consisting of Radiyaa Mehedi Khan (EWCE) and Radiya Umme Ayman (EWCE)
and “Team Spectrum” comprising Kaisar Mahmud (IPE), Iftikhar Farahad (IPE), Larry Andrew Penheiro (IPE) and Koushik Barua (IPE) came out as 1st runner up and “Team SSAD-01” consisting Syeda Mukhshia Shehreen (BME), Maisha Mehnaz (CE), Saimun Naher Ami (NAME) and Devjani Chakraborty (CE) came out as 2nd runner up in the competition.
The Prize giving took place on 30 December in Zoom Online Platform at 11 am. Commandant Maj Gen Md Wahid-Uz-Zaman, BSP, ndc, aowc, psc, te. was the chief guest in the ceremony. He congratulated all the winners and also acknowledged the club and Director of Research and Development Brig General Mohammad Pavel Akram for such initiative. He wished more events and innovative ideas from MIST Innovation Club in the future
