MIC Pep Talks Session 4 Govt. Jobs vs. Corporate Jobs

For giving a far sight about future job fields and better understanding of the difference between government job and corporate jobs, Mist Innovation Club organized pep talks about the pros and cons of Government and corporate jobs. This webinar was held on 12 June, 2020 at 9:00pm with the help of zoom. The presence of our Respected Seniors and alumni was the most visionary focus of this event. Our special guests for the session were very talented host Khalid Mahmud Saad, Assistant Director of Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA and also Ex MISTian, Dept. of Mechanical Engineering) and Anusha Kabir, Senior Executive, Business Intelligence of Grameenphone. (Ex MISTian, Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering) respectively.

This session was conducted by Team Laister, the 1st runners up of Pioneros 3.0. Farzana Mubassira, Lecturer of PME Dept. And Mehedi Hasan Bappy, production intern at Metrocem were present from Team Laister.

Online crash course on presentation skills and Pitching Hacks

With a view to develop skills and knowledge by utilizing the opportunity of this quarantine, MIST innovation club organized an online Crash Course on Presentation Skills and Pitching Hacks. This event was held on two consecutive days 19th and 20th April, 2020 at 7:00pm for approximately an hour respectively with the using Zoom meetings. Participants of this course were groomed by the most talented and extraordinary coach Md. Sohan Haidear, Founder and CEO of the Smartifier Academy.

Workshop on IoT and Robotics

What if we tell you we are going to build up a complete setup of laser tag game by ourselves? Its sounds much creative and innovative. To fulfil this innovative idea MIST Innovation Club had arranged a workshop on IoT & Robotics. The workshop held on three days 3rd, 10th and 15th March, 2020. Each day the workshop started at 3pm and ended at 5pm. Classes were conducted by Muhaiminul Islam Akash and Tanzim Hasan Fahim. Activities were divided among these three days.
