On 23rd of April, 2020, by joint venture of Colonel Malek Medical College and MIST Innovation Club, a telemedicine app “Daktar Shaheb” was launched. It’s a complete volunteering & nonprofit initiative by these two organizations. It is a readymade 24/7 First Aid tool in something we use daily, our phones or through web. We all know what has been happening lately haven’t you wondered about any ease of access to a connection between the patients and the doctors? Without having to worry about going out where in the current scenario, 75-80% cases patient gets recovered without any special treatment but just taking regular medicines.

From here, anyone can easily download the app from Google Play Store or by scanning the QR code. It is an open online platform for the patients to be connected to the doctors at any time. This will be the bridge between the patients and hundreds of standby Doctors and Volunteers waiting to give medical service no matter when, no matter where. You have internet? You have an android phone? You’re good to go. The app will work as a telemedicine center for the patients. They can send message and call doctors and doctor/volunteer will reply accordingly.

In case of our country, hospitals and doctors are unable to treat such contagious virus for not having proper PPE, masks and gloves and at the same time we can’t just storm into any other hospital to treat small issues like a common cold or fever.
This is the interface of Daktar Shaheb. It is very simple, fast and user friendly. There are four vital sections in the app. We have made these sections for you to use this app as easiest way as possible. Among four sections, there are, ask questions about your problem, View the previous questions you asked, List of doctors and List of our volunteers. There is also a very useful feature we added that doctors can contact volunteers for any emergency case to help patients.
This is the interface of asked questions from patients and replies from the doctors. The doctors and volunteers are working 24/7 for the patients. Any of your problems or symptoms can be asked here and you will get the solution as soon as possible.
Last but not the least, Telemedicine app “Daktar Shaheb” is a stand-by medic service at any kind of emergency. Especially in a remote area it could be quite good help for any kind of your inconvenience. This app will be a bridge between doctors and patients specially in this Covid period.
